Lose weight meal plans – Check out this sample weight loss meal plan

December 2nd, 2009

Sometimes it seems that some people can get away with bad habits and wrong actions. If your best friend is eating hamburgers, pizzas and ice-cream and is not getting fat at all, but you will get fat when eating these foods, then this can be really frustrating. But sooner or later even your “lucky” friend will start gaining fat eating these foods. So the food you eat is very important and it would also be nice to eat good foods, that taste great and still lose weight. This can be done, if you choose the right foods, there is no need to starve yourself.

Lose weight meal plans

First of all you need to understand that everything you eat, either moves you closer to your target or moves you further away from it. No food is neutral, so you have to be really careful what you eat. It is also a good idea not to follow some extreme meal plan. For example a very low carb meal plan, very low fat meal and so on. The best meal plan should have all the macronutrients the body needs. For a lot of people the, 50-55% carbohydrate, 30% protein and 15-20%, ratio works very well.

Sample weight loss meal plan

Meal 1 – Oatmeal, egg white omelet, banana Meal 2 – 100% whole grain dry cereals, protein shake, orange Meal 3 – Chicken breast, Brown rice, green beans Meal 4 – Top round steak, baked potato, broccoli Meal 5 – Yams, cottage cheese, asparagus Meal 6 – Tuna, Whole wheat bread, salad

Calories: women – 1500-1800 calories, men – 2100-2400 calories

This is just and example and you can very easily create your own meal plans, but you have to include lean proteins, complex carbs, simple carbs, starchy carbs, fibrous carbs and also essential fats in your meal plan. If you do that and keep your calories under control, then you can certainly lose weight.

Using a rapid weight loss diet plan – Why rapid weight loss diet plan are no effective

November 21st, 2009

Everyone wants to lose weight fast and permanently without much hard work. We expect the incredible weight loss stories we see on magazines, online and TV to be true. But they are not true and even if you do lose weight rapidly using a diet plan, then the chances are you will gain all the weight back. Losing weight fast and permanently are two different things and you can not lose weight permanently with diets, because diets are only temporary.

Using a rapid weight loss diet plan

One of the main reasons why people struggle with weight loss so much, is mainly because people do not to their homework. I mean if you are serious about losing weight with a certain diet plan, then you need to do some research and find out, if REAL people have long-term success with it. You can not trust what the diet plan makers are telling you. But people rarely to their homework and get scammed by the weight loss industry.

Diets are a severe restriction in food or calories, that are not permanent but temporary. Diets are temporary, so you can´t expect permanent results with diets, no matter what kind of a diet you are using. Most conventional diet plans and programs require people to reduce their calories to 800-1200 for women and 1500-1800 for men. Sometimes the number is even lower than that.

The thing is that if you reduce your calories drastically, then you do lose weight. But weight loss is not fat loss and 95% of the time the weight you lose with fast weight loss diets plans comes back again. In my opinion it is not very smart to use diets to lose weight because they can´t work in the long run. It would be much better if you would get a fat loss program, that has proven it works.

Quick weight loss tips for teenagers

November 16th, 2009

It would be really great if someone told you a few tips about weight loss and then you would automatically lose weight. But weight loss tips can only lead you to the right direction, they by themselves, are not enough. For teens the most important part is the beginning and once they make a good start, then everything else is much easier. In this article I will give you a very simple tips that will help you get started and how to stay highly motivated.

Quick weight loss tips for teens

Set precise goals

When people start a fitness program, then they have very vague reasons, why they decided to start it. Some just want to get a bit leaner, other want to lose weight, some want to lose belly fat etc. But these reasons are not very good, because they are very general. The more precise and specific a goal is the better. What size clothes would you like to wear, how much body fat would you exactly want to lose, what would be your ideal body fat percentage etc.

Set measurable goals

The problem is that, if you only use the scale and the mirror, then you will not get very accurate results. Because the scale does not tell you how much body fat you have lost, it only tells you how much weight you have lost, But weight loss is not fat loss. Of course the mirror can be very tricky, because sometimes you do not see, what is really there. So the best way to get very good feedback, is if you measure your body fat and weigh yourself. Then you know exactly how much body fat you lost.

Have realistic deadlines

We have all seen ads like, “lose 20 pounds in 20 days or 10 pounds in 3 days,” but these are not realistic. Because as I mentioned before, weight loss is not fat loss. If you do manage to lose 20 pounds in 20 days, then certainly mot of it is muscle mass and water weight, not fat. If you lose muscle, then your body burns less and less calories, making it very hard to maintain your weight. Fast weight loss always means, that you re-gain your weight sooner or later. For example 1-2 pounds of fat, is very realistic to lose in a week. We are talking about 1-2 of fat not weight and if you manage to do that, then you are making very good progress.

Fat Weight Loss

Do you know there are three easy steps that you can implement today that can get you into weight loss mode? If you are looking for some technique to get your fat burning furnace roaring, you are in luck because I am going to share with you 3 steps that you can take so your body can burn more body fat.

There are tips and tricks that we can implement so that we can get more from our workout. This means burn more fat and save more time. All of us are looking for methods to lose weight quickly and get the most of our time. So, by implementing these 3 tips, you can definitely burn more body fat and see the results quite quickly. Without wasting more time, lets dive into it.

Step 1

Do your cardio after your intense weight training. This is by far one of the best method I have seen working for my clients. For those who do not know me, I have been doing personal training for more than 7000 hours since the 2004 and I find that my clients that follow my instructions and do their cardio after their weight training lose the most fat!

The reason behind this is because we are glucose depleted after an intense weight training session. Hence when you hit the cardio, your body will start using body fat straight away. If you do cardio before you weight training, you will waste time spending 10 to 15 minutes burning the sugar in your body and then only the body fat. Then when you do weight training, you will not have the power and strength to complete an intense weight training session.

During weight training, you only use sugar. So, it is more effective to do weight training first, burn of the sugar and then hit the cardio machine for maximum fat loss. If you are not use to do your cardio after weight training, you will feel that your body is heavy and find it really tough. Do it slowly. Do your cardio workout at the intensity of 70 % of your max heart rate the after 5 to 7 minutes; you feel that you can go on forever!

Step 2

Now this is a bit of a controversial issue. Some pros do not like this method and some do. I personally experienced great results from it. It is called low card dieting. Yeah, you have heard of it like a thousand times. I am not a dietitian, but for my modeling days, I use to go low carb for 5 days and then eat normal on Saturday and Sunday.

This is not Atkins diet. I do not eat lots of fats. I eat lots of vegetables; eat lots of fish, egg whites and chicken. I also drink lots of soup because I found out that soup could really satisfy my appetite. The bulk of the meals come from vegetables because it is healthy and keeps your stomach full. You will feel a bit tired during your weight training but that is normal. You are not there to do the World’s Strongest Man event.

The key to maintain on this diet is that you have to eat 5 to 6 meals a day. Always plan ahead. I cannot emphasize enough. You need to plan what time you eat and what you will eat. This will help you cope up with all the hunger pangs. If you fail to plan you plan to fail.

Step 3

This tips is actually very easy. It won’t need you to put in more time into you workout or change your lifestyle. If you have been doing cardio religiously 3 to 5 times a week, why not supercharge your fat loss by using a heart rate monitor. By using a heart rate monitor, you can laser target you fat burning zone. With the heart rate monitor you would also know whether you are really tired or pure lazy. I workout too, I know. Sometimes I feel like I just don’t have the stamina but when I checked my heart rate, it is just fine and sometimes below the required zone. So, I know I am just cheating myself if I stop. I discuss in more detail about getting the right heart rate in my Fast Fat Loss E-Mag. I high recommend you to subscribe to it to learn more and it is free.

There you have it. Three tips for you to get into weight loss mode that you can implement today. The biggest killer I think is procrastinating. Get started today and look great faster. Keep on learning and join info sites like Fast Fat Loss E-Mag to avoid making weight loss mistakes.

Fat Weight Loss

Losing weight can be a very difficult challenge and most people have a hard time sticking to a plan that really works for them now and in the long term. There are a few simple factors to consider if you want to achieve a healthy weight and stay that way, let us look at some of these factors and how you should implement them to see the best results:

Diet:

A proper diet is without a doubt very important for when it comes to losing weight. If you want to burn fat then you need to burn more calories than you are consuming. This usually means that you need to lower the amount of calories you eat and increase the amount of exercise you get. However this does not mean that you should starve yourself or go on very low fat or low carb diets as those approaches are not effective and can adversely affect your health.

The key is to learn to eat the right amount, not too little or too much. Always eat something when you are hungry as hunger is a signal that your body is ready for nutrition however do not over indulge or deny yourself either. Learn when to stop, this is usually when you feel full so save the leftovers and have them later when you are hungry again.

Also try to eat more green foods like spinach and broccoli as these foods will help to alkalize your system which will help to burn fat more easily and give you better overall health. It can be tough to eat enough green foods in your regular diet so this is why using some type of green food supplement is often a good idea.

Exercise:

Proper exercise is without a doubt an important part of any effective weight loss system. Weight training and aerobic exercise are key components that you need to perform properly and consistently. It is important to remember that exercise does not have to take up too much time if you do the right workouts.

With aerobic exercise you want to do it 3 to 5 times a week for 30 to 45 minutes at a time. There are a lot of different aerobic exercises you can choose from doing a fast paced walk outside if the weather permits to jogging indoors on a treadmill. It is important to maintain proper intensity during your aerobic workouts which means trying to maintain a heart rate that is on average between 140 to 150 beats per minute.

Do not forget that strength training is also very important to weight loss so make sure to do it on a regular basis. Most people do not understand the right frequency of weight training exercises and end up usually working out too much. Do not over train with weights as it can lead to many problems and will not help in your efforts to achieve a healthier weight. Proper exercise combined with an effective diet is a sure fire way to achieve the ideal weight you seek.
