Acai Weight Loss Diet? – Discover the 5 P’s

November 28th, 2009

You no doubt have heard the adage “Diets Don’t Work”.  Many are frustrated with their war on weight control. Well the thought of many is they no longer believe that any diet will work.

The way you can lose weight and maintain your weight goal is actually quite simple.  The success of your weight loss and maintenance really depends on you.  You have complete control.  Changes in your life style, you’re eating habits, your outlook on life and your attitude will need to take place. Eliminate processed foods as much as possible.  Processed foods are at the root of the world’s overweight problem.

Then dieter will need to apply The Five P’s to find Their Purpose.

Passion – Embrace Your Dream! Think about what brings you joy, then focus on that feeling of contentment to help propel yourself past the obstacles that normally stand-between you and your goals. Passions give us purpose and drive us to do things we never thought possible.

Possibility – Don’t Limit Yourself! You can achieve almost anything if you can let go of the little voice in your head that says it’s not possible. All you have to do is envision a future where your dreams have come true…then, with an open mind you can take steps to make your dreams a reality.

Presence – Pay Attention to Opportunities! Dreams open your mind to the possibilities …you just have to pay attention to the signs showing you how to achieve them. The good thing is once you’ve realized your purpose and established your dreams (and they are in your mind) you’ll start to see opportunities you may have missed before.

Practice – Take Action! The saying “practice makes perfect” is actually very fitting. It takes effort to make your dreams come true. For example, if you want to lose excess fat weight, you need to train.  Otherwise you won’t ever lose your excess fat weight.

Persistence – Don’t Quit! It is easy to give up when the going gets hard, but you need to stick with it and see it through to the end. If you aren’t progressing as fast as you’d like, take a moment to re-examine your goals and see if you’ve plotted the right path to achieve them. You’re bound to make mistakes along the way, but those blunders are just ways to help you improve so you succeed. Remember, once you find your purpose, only then can you you achieve your goal of weight loss.

Your Body Made Up of Many Cells:Molecular biology has shown that even the simplest of all living systems on earth today, body cells, are exceedingly complex objects. The tiniest cells are incredibly small, weighing less than one trillionth of a gram. Every cell is comparable to a micro-miniaturized factory.  Each cell contains thousands of exquisitely designed pieces of intricate molecular machinery.   Each cell made up of one hundred thousand million atoms. Each cell is far more complicated than any machine built by man.

Molecular biology study has also shown that the basic design of the cell system is essentially the same in all living systems on earth from bacteria to mammals. In all organisms the roles of DNA, RNA and protein are identical. The meaning of the genetic code is also virtually identical in all cells.

The size, structure and component design of the protein synthetic machinery is practically the same in all cells. In terms of their basic biochemical design, therefore no living system can be thought of as being primitive or ancestral with respect to any other system.

Cell Complexity:  “To grasp the reality of life as it has been revealed by molecular biology, we must magnify a cell a thousand million times until it is twenty kilometres in diameter and resembles a giant airship large enough to cover a great city like London or New York. What we would then see would be an object of unparalleled complexity and adaptive design.

On the surface of the cell we would see millions of openings, like the port holes of a vast space ship, opening and closing to allow a continual stream of materials to flow in and out. If we were to enter one of these openings we would find ourselves in a world of supreme technology and bewildering complexity.

We would see endless highly organized corridors and conduits branching in every direction away from the perimeter of the cell, some leading to the central memory bank in the nucleus and others to assembly plants and processing units.

The nucleus itself would be a vast spherical chamber more than a kilometre in diameter, resembling a geodesic dome inside of which we would see, all neatly stacked together in ordered arrays, the miles of coiled chains of the DNA molecules.

A huge range of products and raw materials would shuttle along all the manifold conduits in a highly ordered fashion to and from all the various assembly plants in the outer regions of the cell.

We would wonder at the level of control implicit in the movement of so many objects down so many seemingly endless conduits, all in perfect unison. We would see all around us, in every direction we looked, all sorts of robot-like machines.

We would notice that the simplest of the functional components of the cell, the protein molecules, were astonishingly, complex pieces of molecular machinery, each one consisting of about three thousand atoms arranged in highly organized 3-D spatial conformation.

We would wonder even more as we watched the strangely purposeful activities of these weird molecular machines, particularly when we realized that, despite all our accumulated knowledge of physics and chemistry, the task of designing one such molecular machine—that is one single functional protein molecule—would be completely beyond our capacity at present and will probably not be achieved until at least the beginning of the next century.

Yes the life of the cell depends on the integrated activities of thousands, certainly tens, and probably hundreds of thousands of different protein molecules.

Conclusion For All People:Does such knowledge invoke in you respect for your body and cause you to take good care of your body?  If you eat poorly you are clogging up your perfectly designed body.  We need to pay attention to our body to become a well tuned person working at top efficiency.  Each red blood cell brings the food that you take in and feeds the entire body of cells making up your body as they travel through your veins.

Eat junk food and your feeding your body junk and processed food and getting fat.

Eat nourishing food and your feeding your body nourishing food and staying thin.

Weight Loss Truths – Un-Sugar Coated

October 19th, 2009

People are always trying to lose weight. Unfortunately, very few actually lose weight and half of them gain it all back within a couple of months after they lose it.
The weight loss business is one of the most lucrative businesses around. There are countless consumers who are desperately looking for that hassle-free solution to their weight problem. For this reason, there is never a shortage of quick fixes, “magic pills” and revolutionary machines and gadgets in the market.
Contrary to what some may think, weight loss does not come in a bottle or in the form of a machine. There are no short cuts, overnight miracles or FDA approved pills that you can pop into your mouth to melt away the fats, much less keep it off.
The following are things you would not want to hear but need to-facts about weight loss that will blast a lot of the myths and render null and void a lot of the claims made by weight loss product manufacturers. Brace yourself and take to heart these un-sugar coated weight loss truths.
Weight Loss Truth #1 – It is not possible to 5-10 pounds of body fat in a week.
Your excess weight took time to accumulate, and in the same way, it will take time to get rid off it. Realistically speaking, you can only lose 1-2 pounds of body fat a week and gain lean muscle at more or less the same rate.
True weight loss is fat loss. Sometimes people lose water, bone or muscle weight which is not desirable or healthy as this wreaks havoc on the metabolism.
Do not evaluate your weight loss success on your scale weight because it does not tell you what it is you actually lost. Is it really fat or is it muscle, bone or water?
Weight Loss Truth #2 – Fat loss cannot be achieved through quick fixes and fad diets.
Quick fixes and fad diets come with such promises as: Lose weight while you sleep! Lose 40 pounds a week! Lose weight without diet or exercise! These are all lies that advertisers come up with to get dieters to fork out hard earned cash on products that do not work. Whatever weight is lost though these rackets is not fat weight. It could be water, muscle or bone and as previously mentioned, this can lead to metabolic downgrade and increased fat stores.
Fat loss lotions, potions and gadgets do not work. To get rid of excess fat you need to have a good diet and a regular exercise routine. The weight loss product industry has conveniently omitted this truth from people’s consciousness as it would deter them from making loads of money.
Weight Loss Truth #3 – You have to eliminate processed foods labelled “healthy,” “low-fat,” or “low-carb” from you diet.
The terms may seem harmless, even beneficial but remember, food labels can be misleading. Many times “diet foods” cause you to gain more weight in the long run. Do not let yourself be fooled by carefully worded labels, these foods are completely processed.
There are chemicals in pre-packaged meals and “diet foods” that your body cannot metabolize therefore slowing down your metabolism. When this happens, you burn calories more slowly. In addition, when these substances are not expelled from your body, they become toxins and get stuck in your fat cells making it harder to lose fat.
Weight Loss Truth #4 – To lose fat, you need to exert physical effort.
Your body needs both nourishment and physical activity. To lose fat you have to eat right and exercise. It may be unpleasant but it if you want to get rid of your excess fat, you must do it.
You do not have to workout in a gym to exercise, you can walk, hike, swim, play a sport etc. Find something you really enjoy and get to it!
Weight Loss Truth #5 – A weight loss product will not make you end up looking like a supermodel.
Not to say that you’re a hopeless case, but what I’m saying is that many people are made to believe that if they take a certain product they will end up like the models they see on the weight loss ads featuring that product.
Models work on their looks, they diet, they exercise, they get all sorts of treatments because it’s their job to look great and they get paid loads of money just to endorse a product.
Weight Loss Truth #6 – Muscle is not heavier than fat.
Trainers say it all the time that muscle is heavier than fat. This is a huge misconception, even Dr. Phil and Bob Greene (Oprah’s personal trainer) believe it and have even mentioned it on national TV.
A more accurate way of putting it is that muscle is denser than fat. Five pounds of fat will take up much more space than five pounds of muscle. Thus muscle looks a lot better because the body looks tighter and curvier in contrast to the flabby, blubbery appearance of a body layered with fat. Also, the more muscles you have, the faster your metabolism.
Weight Loss Truth #7 – There’s no such thing as spot reducing exercise.
This is a classic. People think that doing a hundred crunches a day will flatten their abs or that a thousand leg lifts would firm up their thighs. What these exercises will do is build up the muscles beneath all the layers of fat but they will not spot reduce your problem area.
Getting rid of flab requires a combination of diet and exercise. You should eat several small balanced meals. Unprocessed foods are strictly not allowed. You should also do fat burning and strength training exercises regularly. When you begin to lose your body fat, your problem areas will also begin to look better.
Weight Loss Truth #8 – Weight loss is a lifestyle.
Real and quality weight loss is reducing body fat and building up lean muscle. It is not a one-shot deal but a lifestyle change that one makes a lifetime commitment to. If you achieve your weight goal and then go back to your old ways, you are bound to gain back all the weight you lost and maybe even more and you will have to work two times harder to get back in shape again.
Make a switch to a healthy lifestyle of eating right and exercising regularly and do it for the rest of your life. Not only will you become fit and energetic but you will also look younger and it will prevent early degenerative disease.
Being in good health and in good shape is not a matter of genetics, it’s a choice you make. Choose right.
Weight Loss Truths Conclusion
Now that you are armed with the weight loss truths, use them to improve yourself. Nobody can take care of your health and body for you. It is you who will reap the consequences of all that you do to it. If you want to lose weight and be healthy, you have to work daily at eating right and doing your exercises. Once you have achieved your weight loss goal, just keep on doing what you have started. Make it a part of your daily routine such as shaving and brushing your teeth.
If you treat your body right, you will reap a lifetime of benefits.

A Low-Carb Diet Plan — Does It Help in Your Weight Loss Program?

October 10th, 2009

A low carb diet plan can be a great way to help you in your weight-loss journey, but it is important to keep in mind that your dreams of meals filled with T-bones and bacon can cause more harm than good. If you have recently jumped on the low carb bandwagon, there are a few things you will need to consider before banning carbs from your life.

We all know that refined carbohydrates are bad for us. They cause insulin levels in our bodies to raise and fall too quickly, leaving us feeling tired and lethargic. These over processed foods have many health dangers and should be avoided or eaten very sparingly. However, there is such a thing as a good carb when you are on a low carb diet plan. Whole grain carbohydrates are what supplies our bodies with the energy we need to function properly. Complex carbohydrates metabolize slower than processed carbs, giving you energy without the dramatic highs and lows that processed carbohydrates cause. Eating whole grain carbohydrates in moderation is not only healthy, it will help with the energy slump that most low carb diets cause.

Fruits and veggies are also commonly forbidden on many low carb diet plan menus. While fruits can be high in sugar, the sugar is natural and metabolizes in the body much differently than refined sugars. Fruit also supplies much needed vitamins, minerals and fiber to the body. With such a small amount of complex carbs entering the digestive system, the body has to have fiber in order to work properly. When eaten in moderation, fruits and vegetables are a must have no matter what type of diet you are on.

Fat can be another concern when following a low carb diet plan. Many low carb diets urge the dieters to eat as much meat and fats as they like. While this may seem like a dream come true, this way of eating can cause many health problems. Red meat is hard for the body to digest and should be eaten in moderation. If you are low carbing it, choose proteins such as chicken, fish, and legumes that are low in fat rather than the tempting high fat foods that these diets say you can enjoy in unlimited quantities.

There is also no real need to add extra fat to your diet in the form of butter and cream. Too much fat in a diet can lead to high cholesterol, heart disease, stroke and other deadly diseases. The calories that excess fats bring to a diet are not only bad for your health, eating too many can create bad habits that will be hard to break if for some reason you decide that the low carb diet plan is not a good fit for your lifestyle.

With a little tweaking, a low carb diet can be a healthy diet plan to follow. The trick is to use common sense when making food choices and to listen to your body.

Fat Weight Loss

There are many different dieting ideas out there in today’s market. The amount of different diets can be very discouraging to many people that are in need of a diet plan that works for them. It can be very disheartening to continually have a diet that may work for someone else and when a person tries the diet for themselves it does not work.

Reducing calories and sugars and eating the correct foods is the beginning of a healthy diet. Having a healthy diet, reducing the amount of fat stored in the body, and reducing calories eaten are all part dieting – the dieting that works.

There is no diet panacea which will work in every situation for all people. In order for a diet to work, a healthy food must be eaten and sufficient exercise must be practiced. The diet for idiots was created to encourage weight loss for idiots. Different diet types were implemented in the diet for idiots, and then combined to make fat loss for idiots a simple process.

Of great importance for the diet plan to work is dynamic nature of switching between the different styles of eating. Rotating different diet systems in this way guarantees that the body will receive all the necessary nutrients that it requires in order to function properly whilst ensuring that the dieter remains healthy. This make it a truly great plan.

Perhaps the best diet plan is one that actually incorporates parts of other diet plans to create a balance where the other separate plans usually stress overeating one type of food while not eating enough of another type of food. Low-carbohydrate diets are an example of this.

The other side of diets to be avoided excessively are protein rich diets. Such high protein diets have a property such that they are consumed more in quantity by a person than his normal counterpart. When a high protein containing diet is administered, a person on diet is encouraged to take liberal proteins instead of taking more carbohydrates and fats.

The main motivation behind the diet for idiots is that there is no perfect cure-all diet that can work for everyone in every circumstance. This is a diet plan promoting weight loss for idiots. It combines different diet styles in order to achieve easy fat loss for idiots. One of the main factors which cause this plan to work consistently is that it cycles through various eating styles so that the body is allowed to get the nutrients it requires for it to function on a daily basis, whilst remaining healthy. This diet plan is an ideal one.

Fat Weight Loss

With so many different ideas about dieting Tricks and methods currently on the market, it can be very confusing and difficult for people who are trying to find a diet plan and weight loss that will work for them and meet their specific needs. If they keep trying over and over with diets that work for other people, but that don’t work for themselves, it can become very discouraging.

The main concept behind dieting is that we should begin to eat a healthy diet consuming the correct foods in order for our bodies to still function but not excessive in order to create a surplus of calories and sugars that are turned into fat and stored in the body.

One of the main factors which cause the plan to work consistently is that the plan rotates through all these different eating styles so that the body is allowed to get the nutrients it requires for it to function on a daily basis, whilst remaining healthy. The diet plan is an ideal one.

Without the use of many different diet plans there would not be much merit to the plan because most diets that are in existence always omit something or encourage over eating something. For instance a low carbohydrate diet encourages the removal of a large part of your carbohydrate intake.

On the flip side of the omission diets are the excessive diets, for instance a high protein diet. These types of diets are diets that will encourage users to eat higher amounts than a normal person would eat. In a high protein diet people are encouraged to eat excessive amounts of protein in lieu of other types of food categories.

Trying different diet ideas in a continuing attempt to lose weight can end up being not only confusing and taxing but ultimately unsuccessful. Many different diet ideas on the market today focus on one type of food or behavior pattern to the exclusion of all others. While these plans may work for some, ultimately they are never the correct or ideal solution for everyone. This is the rationale behind the diet for idiots. This comprehensive plan of weight loss for idiots combines and alternates among many of the ideas suggested by the traditional diet plans providing a complete and workable approach to fat loss for idiots.

Fat Weight Loss

With so many different ideas about dieting currently on the market, it can be very confusing and difficult for people who are trying to find a diet plan that will work for them and meet their specific needs. If they keep trying over and over with diets that work for other people, but that don’t work for themselves, it can become very discouraging.

Dieting is, in essence, a method to ensure the appropriate foods are consumed for normal bodily functions. The main caveat is that food should not be consumed in excessive quantities, which will cause the calories and sugars to be turned into fat cells and stored in the body.

In order to do so people need to eat healthy diets and maintain those diets while getting adequate exercise. There is no cure all diet that will absolutely work for everyone in every circumstance. This is why the diet for idiots was created. The diet for idiots is a diet plan that helps promote weight loss for idiots. The diet for idiots plan takes different style diets and combines them together for easy fat loss for idiots.

One of the main factors which cause the plan to work consistently is that the plan rotates through all these different eating styles so that the body is allowed to get the nutrients it requires for it to function on a daily basis, whilst remaining healthy. The diet plan is an ideal one.

Perhaps the best diet plan is one that actually incorporates parts of other diet plans to create a balance where the other separate plans usually stress overeating one type of food while not eating enough of another type of food. Low-carbohydrate diets are an example of this.

By contrast to the omission diets, the excessive diets encourage people to overindulge on higher amounts of a certain type of food than a normal person would typically eat. For example, in a high protein diet, a person is encouraged to eat protein in excess instead of other types of foods.

This is the rationale behind the Dieting Tricks.
